We recommend using the Tyyni Cleaning Kit , which is designed to make earplug maintenance easier. It allows for quick, efficient and safe cleaning so you can enjoy the best possible experience with your Tyyni Earplugs day after day.
Dry cleaning
Remove the earplug head
Remove the earplug head so you can clean it properly.
Remove earwax and debris
Use the Cleaning Kit brush to remove most of the wax and dirt quickly.
Clean tight spaces
If dirt remains in small crevices, use the Cleaning Kit needle , which is an excellent tool for precise cleaning.
Cleaning the case
Complete the maintenance by cleaning the case as well. The Cleaning Kit's soft foam head gently removes dust and loose dirt without scratching the surface.
Water wash
After dry cleaning it is a good idea to wash the earplugs with water and mild soap. We recommend using a small box which you can lightly fill with mild soap water. Do not use hot water.
For Finnish customers we recommend a small drop of Fairy dishwashing liquid as soap which works great in a mild mixture. When the soapy water is ready to use place the earplugs in the box and shake it gently. For finnishing cleaning wash earplugs with clean water.
Dry
After washing the earplugs should be dried thoroughly before the next use. Place them in an airy place for example on a clean towel and let them dry at room temperature.
Never use hot water, heatin or a hair dryer becouse high heat can damage the earplug material and shorten the lifespan.
Make sure the earplugs are completely dry before use to keep them hygienic and last longer.
